The soccer referee community is a larger group of officials who are certified through the United States Soccer Federation, which is a member of CONCACAF and ultimately part of FIFA.
Our officials work at the grassroots, regional, and national levels, depending on their experience and training. PSI provides soccer officials to work games at the youth club, middle school, high school, and adult amateur level. Many of the officials in our group work at the collegiate and professional levels. PSI provides two, three, and four-man crews to middle schools on the Monterey Peninsula and Salinas area, and two high schools in the PCAL and BVAL, which are part of the Central Coast section of the California Interscholastic Federation.
Soccer officials work year-round throughout the various fall, winter, spring, and summer seasons that are club and interscholastic competitions. The high school season is the busiest, spanning November through February.
